Legendary drummer for the RAMONES, Marky Ramone, will perform at an all-star concert to benefit the Marky Ramone Drum Scholarship for the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA on Friday, October 8 at the Musicians Institute.
Marky's All-Star performers will include Andy Hilfiger, Lemmy Kilmister (MOTRHEAD), Michale Graves (THE MISFITS), Billy Sheehan (DAVID LEE ROTH), Joey Vera (ARMORED SAINT, FATES WARNING), Mike Stone (QUEENSR%u0178CHE, PETER CRISS), Jeff Duncan (ARMORED SAINT), Marko DeSantis (SUGARCULT), among others.
Marky's setlist is comprised of 31 RAMONES songs such as "Sedated", "K.K.K.", "Psychotherapy", "Blitzkreig Bop", "Pinhead" and more.
"I am much honored to be chosen as an artist for the scholarship program. Music for kids is very important to have," explains Marky.
100 percent of the event proceeds will fund the newly created Marky Ramone Drum Scholarship for Musicians Institute.

Marky Ramone is a member of the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, and is best known for the 15 years he spent drumming for the RAMONES. RAMONES formed in 1974, and are often cited as the first punk-rock group. Marky is the only living member of the longest running RAMONES lineup, which featured Johnny, Joey, Dee Dee, and Marky. He has performed over 1,700 shows and has appeared on more than 15 album releases during his tenure (starting in 1978) as a member of the RAMONES.
