Legendary drummer for the RAMONES, Marky Ramone, will perform at an all-star concert to benefit the Marky Ramone Drum Scholarship for the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA on Friday, October 8 at the Musicians Institute.

Marky's All-Star performers will include Andy Hilfiger, Lemmy Kilmister (MOTRHEAD), Michale Graves (THE MISFITS), Billy Sheehan (DAVID LEE ROTH), Joey Vera (ARMORED SAINT, FATES WARNING), Mike Stone (QUEENSR%u0178CHE, PETER CRISS), Jeff Duncan (ARMORED SAINT), Marko DeSantis (SUGARCULT), among others.

Marky's setlist is comprised of 31 RAMONES songs such as "Sedated", "K.K.K.", "Psychotherapy", "Blitzkreig Bop", "Pinhead" and more.

"I am much honored to be chosen as an artist for the scholarship program. Music for kids is very important to have," explains Marky.

100 percent of the event proceeds will fund the newly created Marky Ramone Drum Scholarship for Musicians Institute.

Marky Ramone is a member of the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, and is best known for the 15 years he spent drumming for the RAMONES. RAMONES formed in 1974, and are often cited as the first punk-rock group. Marky is the only living member of the longest running RAMONES lineup, which featured Johnny, Joey, Dee Dee, and Marky. He has performed over 1,700 shows and has appeared on more than 15 album releases during his tenure (starting in 1978) as a member of the RAMONES.

The X Brothers will be performing at the annual ASPCA Day Going Orange for Animals event in Union Square. The free outdoor concert will be featuring the X Brothers for the third year in a row.

The X Brothers and Fright will be performing at the Green Derby in Elmira, NY at a fundraiser for Autism Speaks and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This concert will be the first time in years that either bands have performed in Andy Hilfiger and Jimmy Cacala's hometown; it also marks the reunion of Fright, featuring fellow Elmira natives, Michael Houghton and Rob Cannavino.

Marky Ramone will be performing with his band, Blitzkrieg, at the Hilfiger Denim store in SoHo to celebrate the launch of his Rock Scene collection. Afterwards, there will be a Rock Scene After Party featuring The X Brothers and Special Guests at Don Hill's.

Andy Hilfiger Entertainment will be presenting a music showcase at Stubb's Bar-B-Q in Austin, Texas during the SXSW Music Conference. The concert will feature AHE's The Click Clack Boom, as well as Brooklyn-based band, Hymns.

Andy Hilfiger will be showcasing the Hilfiger Denim line at this year's South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Conference in Austin, Texas. Hilfiger Denim is co-sponsoring an artist gift lounge with SPIN Magazine.

Hilfiger Denim has launched the Marky Ramone / Rock Scene capsule collection. This unique collaboration has produced a line of leather jackets, jeans, t-shirts, and assorted apparel inspired by Marky Ramone and his punk-rock roots. The former Ramones drummer has known the Hilfigers for over 20 years, having been the drummer for King Flux in the mid-1980s, which consisted of Andy Hilfiger on bass and Billy Hilfiger on guitar.

The X Brothers are scheduled to perform on Lynyrd Skynyrd's Simple Man Cruise 2009. This marks the third year of the cruise, and the first year that the X Brothers will be on board. They will play three shows over the course of the 4 day cruise from the port of Miami to Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas. Their last performance will be as the opening act for Lynyrd Skynyrd.
