Andy Hilfiger is known for his work fusing the worlds of fashion and music. He has been doing so for decades by working with and playing in bands as well as dressing celebrities and creating lines inspired by them.
Andy Hilfiger's first job was at 12 years when he began selling jeans in his brother Tommy's store. Andy's other love is music and he has been playing bass guitar since he was a teen. In 1982 Andy moved to Manhattan from upstate New York to further pursue music. Andy toured with members of 'the Ramones', 'Kid Rock', and 'Blue Oyster Cult' among others.
In the 1990's, Andy started a division at Tommy Hilfiger USA, Inc. styling and dressing some of Hollywood's movie stars and rock and pop musicians and sponsoring concert tours. Andy also started the accessories division for Tommy Hilfiger USA, Inc. where he designed hats, bags, outer wear creating a multi million dollar business. He is also known for co-founding the JLO by Jennifer Lopez clothing and fragrance line.
